423 CLIK – DEADLY
April 23, 2012Download Art of Fresh album for FREE
January 10, 2012
FREE FREE FREE! Now that I’ve got your attention, heres a little something something I KNOW you’ll enjoy! I have a duo I’ve been in for sometime now with long time friend/artist D.O. called The Art of Fresh. It’s a project that was unexpectedly birthed when we started collaborating on tracks back in 2000 (Long before Black Eyed Peas and all the uptempo hiphop/R&B you hear today btw) and just having fun. We were never thinking about “The Industry” or music trends when making this fun uptempo style of music. Our first single was a song called “Get Free”, followed by our second single “Out This World” from our first album “Back to the Earth“. We just recently finished our second album which is called “When the NIght Comes In” and we are happy to inform you that is available for free download! The cool thing about the creation of this album is each song was made in a different part of the world seeing I would bring my equipment with us when we were touring. I can clearly remember making the beat for “Where I Go” as we were driving through Radium Springs in Western Canada in the beautiful Rockies. I remember making the beat for “Alive” in a hotel room in London, England. And probably the most memorable of em all is recording vocals to “Baila” in a crazy beautiful hotel in Kyoto, Japan. (They had a nicely folded, crisply ironed set of PJ’s on your bed awaiting you as you entered, LOL! classy). So I hope you enjoy this album, please share it with anyone you think may like it too. “Gentleman feat JRDN” Breaking Down Stay Driven Album pt 6
July 29, 2011I was tired of hearing tracks from women who kept on saying they wanted a thug and a guy from the streets… Tracks like Destiny Child’s “Soldier” and Ciara “Can’t Leavem Alone”… I’m not mad at the thugs I’m just sayin why can’t you look for a Gentleman!
Over the years I’ve watched girls only date thugs and time and time again they come back upset… it’s almost comical…
So when I started writing Gentleman I wanted to do it for the guys who are good guys, grinding hard, doing their thing…
Originally I sung the hook on the track but I knew that Jordan would be a perfect fit. So I hollared at him and we put it down…
Shout out to Diz Dallas for putting down a dope beat!

“In The Zone” – Breaking Down Stay Driven Album pt 5
June 21, 2011“I’d be a liar if I said I always knew I’d be a rhymer…
Before I had the skills all I had was desire…”
This one standouts as one of my favorites of the album… I’m pretty sure its Slakah’s favorite even though he didn’t make the beat. It was crafted by my man Diz Dallas who sent me the beat in the same zip folder of beats that included “Unfinished Business”
This one allowed me to get laid back and ride the beat…
“One’s for the money and two’s for the show!”

D.O. “Whats My Name” – 2003
October 31, 2010Last night I was bumpin some music on Itunes and I had it on random… I’ve got 5000+ tracks in my library so I never know what I’m going to get…but one that came up was “What’s My Name” a track I did back in 2002. It produced by Slakah the Beatchild and features my man Diz Dallas on the hook.
Even though the track is about 8 years old it still sounds good to me! What do yall think??
D.O. feat Chris Jackson “Man To Beat”
